Ethical Policy

I have purchased this farm on an ethical basis in that the farm has the preserved forest on which no one can use for agriculture or development. I employ a young couple from Pojuca who work looking after the farm and the guests when they are there. For this they receive the government set minimum wage plus four weeks holiday a year and additional salary at Christmas. Brazilian workers have very strong rights protected by the government. They have their accommodation and bills provided and I pay their National Insurance which entitles them to free health care. I also employ a local administrator. I have provided employment to build the swimming pool which has all been done locally.
